KCH-626 is a self-shielded flux cored wire, with crystalized structure of chromium carbide, with much higher resistant to abrasion as compared to normal steel.

General Characteristics:

KCH-626 exhibit an excellent weldability, with almost no slag after welding.

Under normal circumstances, some cracks can be seen on the weld bead due to stress. However, this will not affect the abrasive resistance of the hardfacing layer. However, the weld deposition shall not exceed 8mm (i.e. 2 – 3 layers at max), unless a buffer layer weld is made (refer KCH-615 for buffer layer welding).

Generally, KCH-626 is suitable for welding on wear plate, mining machineries, pressure rollers for cement factories or coal power plant.
